A New York City native with an accomplished financial background and unparalleled knowledge of the Manhattan landscape, Ian Chesnoff is known for his diligent work ethic and affable personality. Equally comfortable working with CEOs and creatives, Ian specializes in luxury condo/co-op sales and leasing in premier Manhattan neighborhoods such as the Upper East Side and Greenwich Village.
Prior to entering real estate in 2010, Ian actively managed a portfolio of commodity futures, options, and equities for over a decade. At home in this fast-paced industry as a trader, he came to value the importance of precision and timeliness, qualities that play an important role in serving his real estate clients. Ian currently resides in Lenox Hill on the Upper East Side, enjoying the proximity to Central Park and Museum Mile. Previously he spent five years as a SoHo resident. He shares his lifelong expertise of both Manhattan neighborhoods with his clients.
A graduate of Binghamton University with a BS in psychology and a concentration in music, Ian is an active funk drummer who does studio work and performs locally as well as volunteering to teach percussion to children. Ian is proficient in conversational Spanish.
